According to the latest research from Omdia, Infineon will achieve the largest year-on-year growth (3.5%) among its competitors, with a market share of 21.3% in 2024 (up from 17.8% in 2023).

Infineon has grown faster than the market over the past few years. Since 2015, Infineon's microcontroller business has grown at a CAGR of 13.0%, while the overall market has grown at a CAGR of only 4.0%.
In 2023, Infineon became the world's number one in the automotive microcontroller market for the first time, and finally in 2024, it also achieved number one in the overall microcontroller market.
According to Omdia, the global microcontroller market revenue is expected to reach $28 billion in 2023 and $22.4 billion in 2024.
