Keysight Technologies announced a new 200 MHz, 4-channel InfiniVision X-Series oscilloscope on the 12th.
The InfiniVision 1000 X-Series oscilloscope provides professional-level measurements and features, including 4-wire SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) decoding and remote connectivity via LAN, at a reasonable price.

The new model uses the same user interface and measurement technology as the higher-end Keysight InfiniVision oscilloscope.

The intuitive front panel is simple to use, and customers can quickly understand the oscilloscope's functions through built-in features and improve overall test efficiency. 17 free educational signals are built into the equipment to enable quick use of advanced measurement and analysis functions.

“Visualizing electrical signals to understand both timing and voltage relationships is one of the most important sources of insight for the electrical engineering community,” said Teit Poulsen, Director at Alto Measurement Science. “Keysight’s new 4-channel X1000 series oscilloscopes provide the best level of signal insight and functionality at a low price point.”

The new product allows for bandwidth upgrades via software licensing. Customers can purchase only the bandwidth they need immediately and upgrade it as required later as their design becomes more complex.

Available in bandwidths of 70, 100, and 200 MHz, the InfiniVision 1000 X-Series oscilloscopes can measure random or intermittent glitches and anomalies that oscilloscopes in a similar price range might miss, thanks to Keysight MegaZoom IV ASIC technology, which features an update rate of 50,000 waveforms per second and a sampling rate of 2 GSA/s.
