Schneider Electric launched the PowerLogic ION9000 power quality meter on the 14th.
PowerLogic ION9000 is a new power quality analyzer added to the connected product family of EcoStruxure Power, an integrated architecture platform.

Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure Power is an open, interoperable system architecture applicable to buildings, grids, industries, and data centers, playing a key role within power distribution networks.

PowerLogic ION9000 features significantly improved capabilities in terms of IoT-based event analysis and accuracy compared to previous models, and provides information necessary for major power applications.

The provided information plays a crucial role in preventive maintenance and the analysis of the root causes of power outages, helping to maintain the safety of personnel and equipment.

The PowerLogic ION9000 is an upgrade from the existing ION7650 and provides accurate measurements centered on the following innovative features.

First, from another company It provides certified Class 0.1s accuracy, offering twice the accuracy of existing products. Therefore, it enables the maintenance of energy saving metrics and peak performance.

Next, because it is designed to meet comprehensive Cyber Security Ready certifications, it helps address cyber security issues for critical power assets and systems.

It also features on-board power quality analysis capabilities, providing not only data but also useful information, and enables on-board PQ analysis according to EN50160 and IEEE519 standards. It is also equipped with extended waveform capture and patented DDD (Disturbance Direction Detection).
Smart power event analysis enables the automatic correlation of trends, events, and waveforms based on the time and type of incident. This reduces response time and provides critical analysis insights based on pre- and post-incident data.

Finally, through the patented ION programming function, it is possible to flexibly change the changing power network. It can be directly programmed to accommodate complex power distribution monitoring or customized substation automation.
