The XO-1 RTR car can accelerate from 0 to 100 mph in just 4.9 seconds and has won the 2012 Readers' Choice Award for Best Electric On-Road Car and the Best Innovation award from RC Car Action Magazine. The XO-1 RTR car uses TQi, a high-power 2.4-GHz wireless system with a 2-channel transmitter, 5-channel receiver, and internal antenna. It also provides a dock for use with Apple iPhone and iPod Touch, enabling live telemetry data and easy customizable control functions. The Cypress WirelessUSB-LP offers outstanding features configured to enable superior wireless performance. WirelessUSB-LP provides an integrated power amplifier (high transmit power up to +4dBm) and external power amplifier support for strong signals at extended ranges. Additionally, the product utilizes Cypress's Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) technology and RSSI-based channel selection to deliver excellent co-location capability and best-in-class interference immunity for noisy environments. WirelessUSB-LP features SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) burst mode for high frame rates and low latency, dynamic data rates, and an automatic transaction sequencer. Combined with support for printed trace wiggle antenna, it enables the refined and contemporary design of the TQi transmitter without interference from protruding antennas.
