President Hollen Visits Hyundai Motor and KCC Precision during His Visit to Korea
Cooperation with Hyundai Motor Company on the development of automated systems

Universal Robots announced on the 18th that its President Jürgen von Hollen visited Hyundai Motor Company's Uiwang Research Center during his visit to Korea.
Universal Robots' collaborative robots are actively used worldwide in the automotive manufacturing industry. President Hollen's visit was to tour Hyundai Motor Company's world-first, fully integrated inspection system utilizing Universal Robots' collaborative robots, and to meet with relevant officials.

At the meeting, the two companies agreed to strengthen their close partnership and collaborate on the development of flexible automation systems. A representative from Hyundai Motor Company's Uiwang Research Center stated that the company will actively consider working with Universal Robots to help its partners improve productivity.

The battlefield inspection system, toured by President Jörgen von Hollen, is operated by six Universal Robots collaborative robots. This technology, developed by Hyundai Motor Company for the first time in the world, automatically inspects ADAS and safety-related systems in a single process.

That same afternoon, President Hollen also visited KCC Engineering & Construction, a domestic valve and cylinder manufacturer. KCC Engineering & Construction, which manufactures and exports valves and cylinders, has been experiencing increased productivity since last year by utilizing collaborative robots from Universal Robots, supplied by Soltech Solutions, a Universal Robots certified SI company.

At the event, President Hollen stated, “Universal Robots’ collaborative robots can be widely used not only by large corporations but also by small and medium-sized enterprises that produce a wide variety of products in small quantities,” and “This year, we plan to launch various marketing campaigns for small and medium-sized enterprises.”
