LG Electronics presents three value smartphones equipped with large displays and AI technology.
LG Electronics is unveiling three value smartphone models—LG Q60, LG K50, and LG K40—at MWC19.

These value-oriented products not only inherit features applied to premium models such as sound, camera, and design, but also differentiate the consumer experience unique to each product.

LG Electronics plans to build a lineup that allows customers to select the perfectly matched product by choosing specialized advantages such as design and convenient features based on their smartphone usage environment and experience.

The three smartphones unveiled this time feature large displays and various AI functions despite being value-oriented products.

LG Electronics has equipped the LG Q60 and LG K50 with 6.26-inch FullVision displays and the LG K40 with a 5.7-inch FullVision display. By minimizing the front bezel, the devices are easy to handle with one hand despite the large screen.

In particular, the LG Q60 and LG K50 wrap the front camera in a waterdrop shape and minimize the bezel excluding the screen to enhance immersion.

The three new models also incorporate various AI functions. The AI camera automatically recognizes objects and recommends optimal image quality such as brightness and contrast, while the Google Assistant button enables convenient access to Google Assistant.

LG Electronics has equipped the new models with the 'DTS:X' surround sound feature, which was previously applied mainly to premium product lines.

'DTS:X' allows users to enjoy high-quality surround sound like a movie theater with up to 7.1 channels even without premium earphones. Not only do dialogue become clearer when watching movies, but the spatial sensation during gaming also enhances immersion in content.

LG Electronics has focused on core functions such as camera and battery to enhance customer convenience.

All three new models feature AI cameras. The LG Q60 is equipped with three rear camera lenses—16-megapixel standard, 5-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel depth—allowing users to capture photos suited to subjects and backgrounds in one shot without moving. The three lenses help users capture the photos they want without needing to reposition.

The LG Q60 and LG K50 are equipped with depth cameras that support out-focus functionality, allowing users to emphasize only their desired subject and blur the background.

The three new models are equipped with large-capacity batteries, alleviating battery concerns in multimedia environments with high power consumption such as video viewing and web browsing. The LG Q60 and LG K50 feature 3,500mAh batteries, while the LG K40 has a 3,000mAh battery.
