On the 2nd, Hilscher introduced small multi-protocol PC cards in M.2 2230 and Mini PCI Express half-size formats to the automation market. Both card products, measuring 22 x 30 mm and 30 x 26.8 mm, are optimized for compact, small systems.
The two products, which support a temperature range of up to 70°C without a heatsink, are suitable for a wide range of temperature environments such as vision systems, mobile devices, or embedded PCs.

The two cards adopting netX technology faithfully perform the hardware roles required for processing real-time Ethernet and fieldbus protocols. In addition, both cards are compatible with the cifX PC card family.

Under the Common Hilscher Platform Strategy, all PC cards feature the same application interface and use the same drivers and tools for all card formats and networks.

Meanwhile, cifX has more than eight different device drivers to support all common PC card formats and major industrial protocols, such as master and slave.
