LG V50 ThinQ launches on April 19th

| Reclaiming the V series' identity with a second screen

LG Electronics has confirmed the release price and promotions for its first 5G smartphone, the LG V50 ThinQ, and is poised to conquer the newly emerging 5G smartphone market.

The LG V50 ThinQ, which is being released through self-sufficient channels such as the three mobile carriers, open markets, and LG Best Shop, has a factory price of 1,199,000 won.

To celebrate the launch of its first 5G smartphone, LG Electronics is offering a free "LG Dual Screen" accessory to customers who purchase the LG V50 ThinQ by the end of May. The LG Dual Screen costs 219,000 won.

The LG Dual Screen features a 6.2-inch OLED screen inside a flip cover. It maximizes multitasking performance by extending the "Second Screen," first introduced by LG Electronics on the LG V10 in 2015, out of the screen. It's detachable, so you can attach it only when needed.

Customers can watch movies on their smartphones while searching for actors, plot details, etc. on the LG Dual Screen. You can also implement games and controllers on two separate screens, or display online lectures and learning materials simultaneously. The possibilities are diverse, from comparing your own golf swing to that of a professional player to practicing proper posture while watching a yoga instructor's video.

LG Electronics' mobile marketing manager, Ahn Byung-deok, said, "We will reduce the burden on customers and allow more consumers to properly experience the various charms of the LG V50 ThinQ and LG Dual Screen."
