Samsung Electronics held the "A Galaxy Event" in Bangkok, Thailand on the 10th (local time) and unveiled the "Galaxy A80," the first Galaxy phone to feature a rotating camera. Simultaneous events were also held in Milan, Italy, and São Paulo, Brazil.

The Galaxy A80 is the first Galaxy phone to feature a rotating camera and an intelligent camera that can use the same camera for both front and rear shooting.

The Galaxy A80, which features a 48-megapixel main camera, a 3D depth camera, and an ultra-wide-angle camera on the back of the smartphone, automatically switches to the front-facing camera when the user switches to selfie mode.

The 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree field of view allows users to record the scene they see exactly as they see it. It also provides a 'Live Focus' function that allows you to freely apply bokeh effects.

By utilizing the 3D depth camera, you can create live focus videos that add bokeh effects to images in real time, as well as use simple measurement functions that measure the length of objects based on AR.

The 'Super Steady' function, which enables shake-free video recording, is also applied, allowing users to easily shoot smooth videos at the level of a professional camera.

The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display lets you enjoy multimedia content in a realistic way, and it also supports Dolby Atmos, allowing you to enjoy a 360-degree audio experience when using earphones or Bluetooth speakers.

It is equipped with a 3,700mAh battery and supports 25W ultra-fast charging, and optimizes battery usage time and application execution speed by learning each user's lifestyle and smartphone usage patterns.

It also features a front fingerprint sensor based on the mobile security platform KNOX.

The Galaxy A80 will be released in late May in three colors: black, gold, and white.
