InnoVex, Computex Startup Specialized Pavilion
11 countries, including Korea, participated for the fourth consecutive year.

The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) announced on the 24th that a total of 11 country pavilions will be opened at COMPUTEX Taipei 2019, including Korea, which is participating for the fourth consecutive year in the startup platform 'InnoVEX', as well as France, the Netherlands, and Sweden.

Every year, numerous startups showcase cutting-edge services and products at InnoVEX, attracting the attention of venture capitalists (VCs) and corporate investors.

Since the opening of InnoVEX, Korea has established a Korean Pavilion and has been supporting approximately 10 domestic startups each year to develop overseas markets.

This year, a total of 10 startups participated in InnoVEX with support from the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (GBCCEI).

The 10 startups are ▲ Main Information System (MAIN INFO), which develops vehicle navigation equipped with hologram and motion sensor technology ▲ Game BTS, which develops exclusive content related to the BTS universe TAKEONE COMPANY provided through WORLD ▲ M-Robo, which provides investment information solutions using robot journalism ▲ Fin2B, which operates an accounts receivable discount platform ▲ SMARTSOUND, which provides a family health management solution using a smart stethoscope ▲ FAVE by Strong Friend, which develops and sells the smart balance trainer FAVE, a smart healthcare product that combines functional training exercise equipment and ICT technology ▲ lululab Inc., which provides skin analysis and product recommendation services through the skin analysis beauty device Lumini ▲ BeyondLimit, which helps cognitive development in infants and children by showing 2D images virtually ▲ ONESOFTDIGM, which developed the world's first smartphone-linked portable body fat measuring device ▲ WithUs&Earth, which develops and supplies small products that are easy to carry around with green energy.

Tightra announced that InnoVEX will be the largest ever this year, with 467 startups from 24 countries participating, a 20% increase over last year.

France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Japan, Canada, and the Philippines, along with Korea, have confirmed the establishment of national pavilions following their establishment in 2018. Additionally, a total of 11 country pavilions will be set up, including Hong Kong, Poland, Brazil, and Hungary, which are participating for the first time this year.

KOTRA plans to discuss local partnering and investment attraction through separate VC and buyer matching sessions during the Korea Pavilion's operation period.

InnoVEX 2019 will be held at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 from the 29th to the 31st.
