SK Networks Introduces Commvault Backup and Recovery Solution
High-speed network backup based on 10G switches

Network equipment is becoming faster to accelerate data transmission speeds and network efficiency.
Commvault announced on the 10th that it has supplied 'Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery' to domestic large corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, and public institutions.

To achieve this, Commvault collaborates with multiple partners to provide fast and reliable backups based on high-performance 10G network switches.

SK Networks plans to introduce a fast and stable Commvault backup solution based on a 10G switch, a high-speed backup network, and apply it to its new IT infrastructure.

The newly introduced Commvault solution features deduplication functionality built into the backup server, allowing general servers and storage to be configured as appliances without being restricted by hardware manufacturers, providing cost savings and flexibility.

As a partner of Commvault, Curoid played a pivotal role in providing Commvault's backup and recovery solutions for this project, from proposal to implementation.

Last year, Curoid proposed and supplied Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery to Dongbu Steel for its backup solution replacement project.

Dongbu Steel is currently backing up and restoring all server storage data, including the database of its main Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system running on all servers in operation, and various data within virtual systems, using Commvault software.
