National Instruments (NI) released the latest version of its SystemLink software, a solution for distributed system management, on the 27th.

SystemLink is a platform developed for engineers who need to manage differences between systems as distributed systems expand and data increases exponentially.

Engineers can improve operational efficiency by utilizing SystemLink's single interface to quickly set up and manage multiple facilities, test bench software, tests, and equipment.

The latest version released this time includes the addition of the 'SystemLink Asset Module'.

Through the new module, users can centrally manage test data such as equipment usage history and calibration data, and quickly check relevant data through a new type of dashboard.

Continuously monitoring system status and performance is essential for test throughput and preventing production interruptions.

In the event of a network failure, relevant information is stored in the cache and can be transmitted to the SystemLink server upon network recovery.

It supports TestStand without any additional work and provides custom APIs written in LabVIEW, Python, and .NET/C# languages.

SystemLink supports the simplification of the configuration process and the maximization of instrument utilization through a centralized web application responsible for software installation, device updates, and diagnostic functions, while also helping to minimize the cost and time required for test management.

Adopting an open architecture has the advantage of enabling adaptation even if new technology standards emerge.

Ganesh Devara, CEO of Soliton Technologies, began by saying, “SystemLink is an essential platform for customer solutions related to system management and test data management.”

"It supports open APIs and integrates with LabVIEW and TestStand, enabling the resolution of common technical issues such as software deployment, testing, data collection, and storage," he stated. He further emphasized, "It is also compatible with Python and Junyter Notebook, making it easy to develop and deploy machine learning and data visualization solutions."

System Link is currently available in English, Chinese, and German versions.
