At the 2019 BRICS Future Networks Forum held in Shenzhen, China on the 6th of this month, the China branch of the BRICS Institute of Future Networks was established.
Its objective is to deepen ICT cooperation among BRICS member states and promote the digital economy of BRICS member countries.
Meanwhile, around the same time, major Chinese 5G companies including telecommunications carriers, Huawei, ZTE, and Shenzhen Pisoft Technology held a 5G experience week at Futian Station, Asia's largest underground high-speed railway station, to demonstrate 5G application solutions.
The Pilot Era, the world's first panoramic camera supporting exclusive live streaming, was adopted as the official camera for 360-degree event recording and streaming.
Pisoft Technology also collaborated with other companies to showcase diverse 5G+VR applications across multiple scenarios.
Pisoft Technology, a panoramic algorithm supplier and industrial partner of DSP IP supplier CEVA, has collaborated with telecommunications enterprises and other organizations on a wide range of projects.
These projects include the World Convention of Small and Medium Enterprises, WBO Championship, CCTV National Football League, Shenzhen's first 5G smart community, VR remote education programs, and China's first 5G+ WIT120 program.
Adler Shen, CEO of Pisoft Technology, stated, "It is gratifying to collaborate with major telecommunications carriers to support live broadcast of the event and showcase 5G applications for BRICS dignitaries. Going forward, we hope to explore and collaborate with more enterprises and governments worldwide to support the transformation and enhancement of businesses and communities based on 5G and VR technology."
