LG Electronics System Verification Solution TestPresso Acquires TÜV SÜD Certification

LG Electronics announced on the 19th that TestPresso, an in-house developed system verification solution, has received specification certification from a global certification authority.
Has Obtained Industrial Functional Safety Global Specification Certification
TestPresso recently obtained certification from TÜV SÜD, a global certification authority based in Germany, confirming compliance with 'IEC 61508', the international standard for functional safety of electrical/electronic systems, and 'ISO 26262', the international standard for automotive functional safety. TestPresso is a solution capable of verifying all functions and performance of both software and hardware.
TÜV SÜD is a global certification authority that certifies standards related to electrical/electronic products, automobiles, energy devices, and more. It rigorously examines whether certification targets comply with international standards throughout all development stages, from design phase to functional verification, and from establishment to operation of management systems for development.
Since there are not many verification solutions on the market that comply with ISO 26262, the international standard for automotive functional safety, TestPresso's rarity in the automotive software verification field is even higher.
LG Electronics is already utilizing TestPresso when developing smart appliances, automotive components, and robots, and verifying their quality. Since 2004, TestPresso has undergone numerous field tests to ensure quality stability and is being used by other companies including LG affiliates.
As the fields where TestPresso is used continue to expand to various industries including electrical/electronics, automobiles, and IoT, it is receiving significant attention from companies seeking verification solutions.

TI Unveils Multi-Axis Coreless Current Sensor TMCS2100-Q1 for HEV/EV Traction Inverters
Texas Instruments has unveiled the TMCS2100-Q1, a multi-axis coreless Hall-effect current sensor for HEV and EV traction inverters.
