Directed Energy Sells Precision Pulsers for Over 30 Years

DigiKey Electronics announced on the 5th that it has expanded its product portfolio by entering into a global exclusive distribution partnership with Directed Energy.

Directed Energy provides modules ready for immediate use in applications requiring high-voltage pulses and for driving laser diodes.

Engineers can use Directed Energy modules to provide high current and high voltage pulses for scientific, industrial, and commercial applications, focusing on end-use or products as off-the-shelf solutions.

Stephen Krausse, President and Owner of Directed Energy, said, “We are pleased to be able to provide Directed Energy’s pulsed laser diode drivers and high-voltage pulse modules to engineers around the world through DigiKey.”

Generating high-quality electrical pulses from high-current pulses designed to drive laser diodes, and high-voltage pulses designed to operate refraction grids or adjust beams, is a challenging task.
