ON Semiconductor AR0132AT Shipments Surpass 100 Million
Subaru adopts Onsemi 1.2-megapixel CMOS sensor
Applied to iSight stereo camera system


ON Semiconductor announced on the 22nd that shipments of its AR0132AT image sensor for driver assistance applications have exceeded 100 million units. In particular, Subaru has adopted ON Semiconductor’s 1.2-megapixel CMOS sensor for its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), EyeSight.

The EyeSight system supported by AR0132AT was first applied to the Levorg model in June 2014, and has been applied to models such as Legacy, Forester, Impreza, and SUBARU XV.

ON Semiconductor and Subaru will continue to collaborate on the development of camera-based ADAS technology, with a shared vision to improve safety and achieve the goal of ZERO traffic fatalities in the near future.

The AR0132AT is applied to the stereo camera system that acts as the eyes of EyeSight and supports key safety functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Sway Warning, Pre-collision Braking, and Pre-collision throttle management.
