The Seoul taxi industry signaled a seismic shift in the taxi market by partnering with T-money on the 28th to launch 'Onda Taxi,' which utilizes AI.
T-money, the number one domestic transportation payment service provider, has officially launched 'Onda Taxi' in partnership with the Seoul Metropolitan Taxi Association and the Seoul Private Taxi Association, the two major players in the Seoul taxi industry.

Onda Taxi introduces ▲AI automatic dispatch management and ▲a destination non-display system to prevent drivers from picking up passengers in advance, and operates in a way that enables call dispatch using card payment terminals installed in Seoul taxis.

When a passenger calls a taxi via an app, it is a system in which a taxi located near the passenger (within 1km) is automatically dispatched through AI automatic dispatch.

Onda Taxi is more significant in that it is led by both taxi unions and directly handles everything from driver recruitment to call app service operation, with a message that means 'a new wave of taxis, it will definitely come if you call.'
