Four SK Group companies will share a joint booth at CES 2020, following last year's.

The exhibition space has been expanded eight times compared to CES 2019.
Four companies within the SK Group, including SK Innovation, SK Telecom, SK Hynix, and SKC, will showcase future mobility technologies at CES 2020, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA from January 7 to 10.
This is the second time that four companies have participated in a joint group booth at CES, following CES 2019.
The four companies, which have confirmed a total exhibition space of 713 square meters, nearly eight times larger than the 91 square meters at CES 2019, will comprehensively showcase the mobility value chain, from electric vehicle batteries to vehicle infotainment, semiconductors, and automotive materials.
SK Innovation will unveil battery materials such as LiBS (lithium-ion battery separator), eco-friendly lubricants for electric vehicles, and lightweight materials for automotive interiors and bumpers.
SK Telecom will unveil various media services, including in-vehicle infotainment, lidar, AI-based HD map live update technology, 5G MEC (Mobile Edge Computing)-based high-definition TV, and U.S. ATSC 3.0 real-time broadcasting.

SK Hynix will unveil semiconductor solutions, including DRAM, NAND flash, and image sensors, used in six business areas: AI, AR/VR, automotive, IoT, big data, and 5G.
In addition to copper foil for mobility battery cathode materials, SKC will also introduce PCT film, which will be used in automotive cables and battery busbars to enable lightweighting of future automobiles.
We are also introducing polyurethane products for automotive interiors that are effective in significantly reducing noise and vibration and significantly reducing the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are known to cause atopic dermatitis.
Additionally, SK Innovation and SKC will jointly unveil a transparent polyimide (PI) film that will enable future flexible, foldable, and rollable displays.
An SK Group official said, “The CES 2020 joint booth will be a place to showcase the future direction of the mobility sector based on SK’s various technologies, including semiconductors, materials, and media,” adding, “It will be an opportunity to seek synergy between the capabilities of each company through a one-stop mobility solution.”
Meanwhile, SK Group has designated 'future mobility' as a new growth engine within the group.
