Radvision (Branch Manager Lee Min-woo, www.radvision.co.kr), a unified visual communications specialist, announced on the 12th that it has become interoperable with Avaya's unified communications solution.
Following the acquisition and merger in June, both companies have integrated Avaya's end-to-end unified communications solution with Radvision's video conferencing solution, thereby enabling the provision of a fully integrated voice and video solution based on standards such as H.323 and SIP.
This solution interoperability is between Radvision Scopia Endpoint and infrastructure equipped with Avaya Aura®, Avaya Flare® Experience, and interoperability with Avaya IP Office and CM5.2.1 is expected to be possible in the near future as well.
Radvision Branch Manager Lee Min-woo stated, "During the acquisition process, we made a promise to provide video collaboration that is easier and more affordable, anytime and anywhere." He added, "We are pleased that through this interoperability of UC solutions, we can now provide a stronger and more open UC solution. Both companies will make further efforts to collaborate more quickly and serve as a foundation for our customers' business growth."
