Agilent Korea (CEO and President Kim Seung-yeol) announced that it donated 10 oscilloscopes worth 110 million won to the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (President Shin Sung-chul, hereinafter DGIST) as a development fund.
This donation marks the first instance of contributing development funds to DGIST in kind. A signing ceremony for the 'DGIST-Agilent Technologies Korea Development Fund Agreement' was held in the DGIST conference room, attended by approximately 20 officials including DGIST President Shin Sung-chul and Agilent Korea CEO and President Kim Seung-yeol.
Thanks to Agilent's donation of equipment, master's and doctoral students and researchers at DGIST, as well as many companies in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, can now conduct various analyses of electrical signals using oscilloscopes.
The oscilloscope being donated to DGIST is the MSOX2024A model from the InfiniiVision 2000 X-series oscilloscopes, which can simultaneously analyze four analog signals and eight digital signals up to a frequency band of 200 MHz, and has a maximum sampling rate of 2 GSample/sec and 100 kpts of memory built-in. In addition, it has the capability to update 50,000 waveforms per second and provides the industry's only built-in 2.5-digit digital voltmeter function and 20MHz function generator function, allowing for various circuit experiments and research and development.

Kim Seung-yeol, CEO and President of Agilent Korea, stated, “We believe the oscilloscopes donated to DGIST are essential equipment for universities and research institutes, and we hope that various research activities will be actively conducted at DGIST.” He added, “We will explore various ways to cooperate with DGIST in the future to achieve synergistic effects in research and development.”
