WD Launches 6 New SanDisk Mobile Storage Models

As we enter an era where anyone can produce high-quality 4K content, there is a growing demand for fast and secure storage of high-capacity data.
Western Digital (WD) held a press conference at the InterContinental Seoul COEX Hotel in Samseong-dong, Seoul on the 30th and unveiled six SanDisk mobile storage solutions that cater to both professional and general users.

On this day, two product lines were unveiled: the SanDisk Extreme PRO CFexpress Card Type B and the SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C Flash Drive.
Along with this, high-capacity models from the existing product lineup include the SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Card 1TB, SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-I Card 1TB, and the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C Flash Drive. The Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C Flash Drive 1TB and the SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD 2TB were unveiled.
New product line
The SanDisk Extreme Pro CFExpress Card Type B offers the fastest speeds among WD memory cards, based on next-generation NVMe technology. Based on the CFExpress standard, it boasts a maximum read speed of 1,700MB/s, which is more than three times faster than the 525MB/s of products based on the CFast 2.0 standard. The write speed is 1,400MB/s.
It supports continuous RAW 6K video recording and shares the XQD standard and form factor. It will be officially released in Korea starting on the 30th, with prices varying by capacity: 290,000 won for 64GB, 490,000 won for 128GB, 790,000 won for 256GB, and 1,190,000 won for 512GB.
The SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C flash drive can securely protect files with 'SanDisk SecureAccess' software and manage data through the 'SanDisk Memory Zone' app. Depending on the capacity, the price is 12,000 won for 32GB, 19,000 won for 64GB, 35,000 won for 128GB, and 65,000 won for 256GB, and it is currently being sold in Korea.
Added high-capacity model
The 1TB model added to the SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I card family supports UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) recording with write speeds of up to 90MB/s. Optimized for seamless high-resolution 4K UHD video and burst shooting, it offers transfer speeds of up to 170MB/ s to support fast editing after shooting. The price is 890,000 won, and it is currently on sale in Korea.
The 1TB model added to the SanDisk Extreme Pro MicroSDXC UHS-I card product family features the same specifications as above, is priced at 790,000 won, and is currently on sale in Korea. Starting with the 64GB specification, it features the A2 rating, a next-generation application performance class for fast execution and loading of applications.
The 1TB model added to the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C flash drive family, which supports both USB Type-A and USB Type-C, is priced at 299,000 won and is scheduled for domestic release on February 24.
The 2TB model added to the SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD product line is priced at 850,000 won and is currently on sale in Korea.

Western Digital Launches Two Industry-Highest Speed 1TB UHS-I MicroSD Cards in Korea
