ICT Sector Response Team Meeting Held Behind Closed Doors
23 associations and organizations and 6 affiliated institutions participated


A meeting of the ICT sector's response team for the novel coronavirus infection was held.

On the afternoon of the 5th, Jang Seok-young, the Second Vice Minister of Science and ICT, presided over a closed-door meeting of the 'ICT Sector Response Team' at the conference room of the Korea Association of Information and Communication Technology (KAIT) with ICT industry associations and organizations and key related agencies to review the current status of the novel coronavirus infection and establish a response system.

Vice Minister Jang stated that he would establish a support system for the ICT industry to ensure a swift response at the association and organization level in the event of industry difficulties caused by the novel coronavirus infection, and would devise relevant measures to ensure that government support is implemented in a timely manner.
