The expansion of the SLOC ecosystem is expected to bring diverse technical benefits to a wide range of systems and applications. Intersil has collaborated with over 100 global companies, including Sony, Altronix, and Hikvision, to accelerate the global adoption and implementation of hybrid IP-based security systems in the video surveillance market and to create a SLOC ecosystem for standardization and solution recognition.

Intersil's SLOC is a revolutionary modem layer technology designed to enable high-resolution, megapixel HD IP-based cameras to operate over existing analog CCTV coaxial cable infrastructure without the need for new cables. SLOC consists of a camera transmitter and a DVR/NVR receiver, enabling high-performance, robust two-way communication between cameras and video recorders, regardless of cable length.
