Establishing a foundation for digital manufacturing technology and education
Industry and academia have joined forces to foster professional talent equipped with smart manufacturing technology capabilities.

On the 24th, Siemens Digital Industry Software signed an MOU with Hanyang University's LINC+ Innovation Leading University Project Group in the field of smart manufacturing software education.
The two organizations signed this memorandum of understanding to foster specialized personnel in the smart manufacturing sector and to establish a foundation for digital manufacturing technology and education.
Under the agreement, Siemens and Hanyang University will jointly develop software education courses and textbooks related to Hanyang University's smart manufacturing, including engineering and simulation.
Hanyang University LINC+ 4th Industrial Revolution Innovation Leading University Project Group aims to develop a smart manufacturing education course in 2022 based on Siemens Digital Industries Software's solutions to foster smart manufacturing engineers.
In 2020, we plan to open courses in digital manufacturing, digital twin, simulation, including CAD, CAE, optimal design, and 3D printing. We also plan to utilize various solutions from Siemens Xcelerator, an integrated portfolio of software, services, and application development platforms.
Siemens Digital Industries Software provides comprehensive solutions for the operation of software solution training courses conducted by Hanyang University. To aid student understanding, it offers Academic Membership for online educational content and provides offline training programs if necessary.
Oh Byung-jun, CEO of Siemens Digital Industry Software Korea, said, “We plan to continue working closely with Hanyang University and providing support to foster key talent for the domestic manufacturing industry.”

스마트제조혁신 지원사업에 총 4,925억 원이 투입된다. 중소벤처기업부는 2020년 스마트제조혁신 지원사업 지원계획을 통합공고하며 이같이 밝혔다. 중기부는 올해 4,150억 원을 투입해 5,600개의 스마트공장을 보급할 계획이다.
