Sponsored all participants in the 2002 KSAE Student Self-Made Car Competition
Free provision of cloud platform licenses and related training

Dassault Systèmes is participating as the official sponsor of the 2020 KSAE Student Self-Made Car Competition for the second consecutive year and is providing 3DEXPERIENCE platform licenses free of charge to all participants.
This event, hosted by the Society of Automotive Engineers and held from August 7 to 9 at the Saemangeum Gunsan Racecourse, is the largest self-built car competition in Korea. It has been held annually since 2007 to foster experts for the future automotive industry by having university students design and build their own off-road vehicles, known as Bajas, and on-road vehicles, known as Formulas.

Dassault Systèmes provides free licenses for its 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud Platform to participating teams wishing to develop their own cars, while also conducting training.

In particular, this year, Dassault Systèmes' headquarters in France is providing free licenses to all participants to enhance the competition's performance. Participants can build their own cars using 3D design and simulation applications such as CATIA, SIMULIA, and SOLIDWORKS within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in a cloud environment.

In addition, a special design contest, the 3DEXPERIENCE Award, has been established to select the best and excellent teams among those that used the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in the production process, and to award them trophies and prize money. Evaluation is based on creative ideas, the completeness of 3D modeling, the utilization of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform's functions, and the results of comparison with the actual product.

Meanwhile, registration for the 2020 University Student Homemade Car Competition will take place from April 1 to April 30.
