As the number of companies choosing to work from home increases due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a solution for office workers accustomed to an office PC environment is being provided free of charge.

Array Networks announced on the 6th that it will provide a remote security access gateway solution free of charge to companies preparing for remote work.

The vxAG solution offered is a software solution that implements the SSL VPN and remote PC capabilities provided by dedicated AG series appliances in a virtualized environment. It can be implemented immediately using only a virtualization platform, without the need for separate dedicated equipment, supporting uninterrupted business operations for businesses.

Existing SSL VPNs have primarily provided remote access for mobile workers. However, for office workers accustomed to office PC environments, working from home using SSL VPN functionality alone presents several limitations.

vxAG also offers a Remote Desktop (DesktopDirect) feature, which allows you to remotely access your desktop in the office and work in the same environment as your office. There is no concern about information leakage because the administrator controls peripheral devices such as storage devices, USBs, and printers on external PCs to prevent key office data from being leaked outside.

vxAG is a software solution provided with a 30-day license. If an extension is needed, it will be provided through consultation. The number of concurrent users may vary depending on the size of the customer's virtual system resources.
