Many companies, especially in newly built apartment complexes, are providing IoT security services for the convenience of residents. However, inconveniences are occurring as each company provides services with different standards.

SK Telecom announced on the 12th that it will launch 'Caps Smart Village', which combines ADT Caps' security service with its apartment complex IoT platform 'Smart Home 3.0'.

The two companies have prepared a dedicated app to enable residents to enjoy comfortable and safe apartment living in a simple manner, allowing them to access all smart home and security-related services through a single app.

Caps Smart Village combines the functions of existing smart homes with a security system, allowing users to apply for ▲requests for dispatch/patrol within the complex ▲requests for strengthening household security during long-term absences ▲reservation management for visiting vehicles ▲community reservation management, etc., which previously required a visit to the management office, through a dedicated app.

ADT Caps also provides enhanced security services tailored to apartments, including ▲integrated security system ▲intelligent CCTV ▲vehicle management ▲fire detection.

Additionally, Smart Home 3.0's ▲AI-based control of IoT devices and built-in devices in the home ▲automatic entry and exit through the common front door ▲parking location confirmation ▲unmanned parcel arrival notification ▲voting function within the complex are still available.

SK Telecom and ADT Caps will provide ▲information security service ▲Caps Home Door to Caps Smart Village in the future.▲T Map parking, etc. will be applied to security services such as D and others.

Meanwhile, SK Telecom is providing smart home services to 100,000 households in 122 complexes nationwide, and recently formed the 'SKT Smart Home Belt' in four large new complexes in Godeok District, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, applying Smart Home 3.0.
