Hyundai Motor and Aptiv Begin Commercializing Level 4/5 Autonomous Driving Platform
Published2020.03.27 10:21Hyundai Motor Group and Aptiv announced on the 27th that they have officially completed the establishment process for a joint venture specializing in autonomous driving, in which each holds a 50% stake.

This joint venture will further advance the companies' shared vision of providing safer, greener, more connected and economical mobility.
By combining Hyundai Motor Group's design, development, and manufacturing capabilities with Aptiv's autonomous driving solutions, the company plans to commercialize a Level 4 and 5 (SAE) autonomous driving platform to be supplied to robotaxi and car-sharing service companies and global automakers.
The joint venture is headquartered in Boston, USA, with technology centers throughout the US and Asia. The name will be announced at a later date.

e4ds' 'e4ds Tech Day 2026' held on September 8th at the Korea Science and Technology Hall concluded successfully. This event, centered on SDV and edge AI, focused on presenting practical application standards and utilization directions in actual industrial settings rather than on technology itself.
