PTC Announces Creo 7.0, AI-Enhanced 3D CAD Software

PTC announced on the 20th that it has released a new 3D CAD software product, ‘Creo 7.0’.
Creo 7.0 integrates Frustum's Generative Design technology, enabling design engineers to leverage the power of AI to quickly create designs tailored to engineering requirements and manufacturing constraints.
PTC has expanded its strategic partnership with ANSYS, adding fluid analysis capabilities to its Creo Simulation Live structural analysis suite. This real-time simulation solution enables design engineers to make faster decisions, reduce iterations, and achieve optimal design decisions.
Creo 7.0 adds a new design toolset, Multibody Design. This allows users to perform more design tasks efficiently and manage, understand, and modify part designs more easily.
Additionally, additive manufacturing capabilities have been enhanced with improved support for stochastic and custom lattices to provide greater flexibility when creating lattice structures. Additional enhancements include drafting functionality, 2D mirroring, and the Sketcher™ tool UI.

Unity has released a report on the adoption status of real-time 3D technology among construction and manufacturing companies worldwide. According to the report, the current adoption rate of real-time 3D technology stands at only 19%, but more than half of respondents at 55% indicated they plan to adopt the related technology within the next two years.
