Arm Announces Flexible Access for Startups
For startups with funding of less than $5 million
Free access for Silicon Catalyst members


On the 7th, Arm announced the launch of ‘Arm® Flexible Access for Startups.’

Arm Flexible Access for Startups is an extension of the existing Arm Flexible Access offering to help early-stage semiconductor startups launch commercial silicon and scale their businesses.

Arm classifies startups with up to $5 million in funding as early-stage.

Startups that meet these criteria will gain access to the Arm-based processor portfolio, including IP from the Arm Cortex®-A, -R, and -M processor families, Arm Mali™ GPUs, ISPs, and other fundamental SoC components. They will also have access to Arm's ecosystem of semiconductor design engineers, software developers, support, training, and tools.

Additionally, Arm announced a partnership with Silicon Catalyst, a semiconductor startup incubator, alongside the announcement of this contract model. Silicon Catalyst members have free access to Arm IP, EDA tools, and prototype silicon.

Meanwhile, in April, Arm signed a three-year agreement with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to provide Arm Flexible Access to 10 companies over a one-year period.
