TI Korea (CEO Kent Tran) will participate in the 'World Smart Grid Expo 2012,' which will be held at COEX in Samseong-dong for four days from October 30 to November 2. The 'World Smart Grid Expo 2012' is the only comprehensive specialized exhibition for smart grids in Korea, marking its third year; it is hosted by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and organized by the Smart Grid Association.

Over the past decade, TI has sold millions of energy meter ICs and established itself as a global leader in safe, economical, and future-proof smart grid systems, providing standard system solutions for grid infrastructure, utility metering, home and building automation, and telecommunications systems through the industry's most extensive smart grid portfolio.

At booth D302, TI plans to showcase demonstrations of SMB3.0 + DC concentrators, SEP 2.0, ZigBee home automation, wireless sensor networks, scan interfaces, and the C2000 powerline modem developer kit, and will help visitors understand TI's smart grid products through explanations by TI's smart grid solution experts.

In addition to the exhibition, a seminar on the following topics is scheduled to be held at the seminar room within the exhibition hall on November 1st, which will be a great opportunity for all designers and engineers working in related fields to interact directly with experts and share information.
