Cognex Unveils AlignSight, an All-in-One Industrial Vision Sensor

Cognex announced on the 17th that it is launching the AlignSight alignment sensor series, an all-in-one solution equipped with the features required for Vision Guided Motion.
AlignSight is a vision sensor solution for Vision Guided Robot (VGR) and Stage Alignment applications, designed to enable easy and rapid setup of robot pick and place, machine tending, and stage motion in the electronic hardware industry.
It features Cognex’s PatMax object positioning tool, providing high precision, and includes automatic hand-eye correction, an easy-to-use graphical setup wizard, and a flexible robot interface library.
In addition, it is built on Cognex's 'In-Sight' smart camera platform, allowing it to be used without a separate external controller to run applications.
Conditions or poor conditions where quality degradation may occur It is suitable for smooth production as it allows for configuring and calibrating applications within minutes even in a low-light environment, and enables rapid position identification to align patterns and reference points.

Toshiba Develops Two Types of Industrial CCD Linear Image Sensors
Toshiba has launched new products TCD1105GFG and TCD1106GFG, which are compact 1500-pixel monochrome CCD linear image sensors for industrial equipment applications. Both products support data rates up to 25MHz. With an integrated timing generator circuit and CCD driver, high-speed operation is possible without external drive circuits. An embedded sample-and-hold circuit extends the video output signal period.
