The COVID-19 pandemic is leading manufacturers to increasingly control their on-site facilities remotely.

However, as interconnectivity between Operations Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) increases, the vulnerability to attack also increases, increasing the possibility of cyber threats targeting previously isolated industrial networks.

On the 14th, Mossa released the 'EtherCatch IEC-G102-BP Series', an industrial intrusion prevention system (IPS), the 'EtherFire IEF-G9010 Series', an industrial firewall, and the 'Security Dashboard Console (SDC)', a security management software.

Unlike IT cybersecurity solutions that require system operations to be halted before performing security updates, system availability is the most important consideration for OT systems. Moreover, since OT systems communicate using industrial protocols, customized software suitable for OT communication that can interpret them is required.

Mossa's newly launched industrial cybersecurity solution allows users to proactively protect OT systems from malicious cyberattacks, address OT equipment vulnerabilities with virtual patching technology, and improve industrial network visibility with SDC.

Currently, the EtherCatch series and SDC are being supplied to the market, and the EtherFire series is scheduled to be supplied in the third quarter of this year.
