Form 3L improves print surface quality with LFS technology
Maximum output size, twice as large as Form 3


El Corporation begins pre-orders for Formlabs' 3D printer 'Form 3L' on the 13th.

The Form 3L, which is larger than the existing Form 3 and can print a wider variety of manufactured goods in three-dimensional form, will be released in the domestic market starting next January.

"Basic discussions regarding securing supply volume and timing for the Korean market have recently been concluded, and we have begun accepting pre-orders from customers starting on the 13th of this month," said Lim Jun-hwan, CEO of L Corporation. "We are currently making fine adjustments to the sales price and domestic distribution costs required by Formlabs headquarters, so the final volume of domestic supply and sales price will be determined before the 24th."

Form Labs’ Form 3L, developed by Form Labs, incorporates LFS technology that precisely calculates and minimizes the force applied during the peeling stage compared to the conventional SLA method, resulting in improved surface quality and the ability to repeatedly produce more precise and high-quality prints.

The dimensions of the Foam 3L are 77.5 × 52 × 73.5 cm (width × depth × height), and the maximum printable size is also 3.It measures 3.5×20×30 cm, which is about twice the size of the Foam 3's 14.5×14.5×18.5 cm. Foam 3L can use the same resin (cartridge) as Foam 3, so existing Foam 3 users can also use the resin interchangeably.

Meanwhile, El Corporation is the only Platinum Partner among Formlabs' domestic resellers.
