Currently, many mobile carriers around the world are rushing to deploy commercial 5G.

Keysight Technologies, Inc. announced on the 19th the launch of PathWave Design 2021, an open, scalable and predictable 5G and millimeter wave (mmWave) software solution.

This solution enables design and verification engineers to accelerate chip, board, and system product launches by adding improved performance and accuracy to device, circuit, and system designs.

To be selected as a key 5G deployment vendor, equipment manufacturers and suppliers must be able to optimize performance, cost, yield, and time to market during design.

However, the increasing complexity and design integration of 5G, coupled with the need for higher frequencies, requires a comprehensive, integrated approach that eliminates late-stage design iterations and ensures first-time success.

The new solution addresses high frequency and complexity challenges with new capabilities across all design stages, from simulation to verification and through to test and manufacturing.

Keysight PathWave Design 2021 enables system integrators to predict system performance with RF circuits, antennas, and modulation signals. △System designers can perform accurate RF modeling with a combined platform in digital, RF and antenna system simulation.
