The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 31st that it will launch the 'Daonda Program' in cooperation with Dassault Systèmes to foster startups in the domestic manufacturing sector, and that it will recruit participating companies from Monday, August 31 to Monday, September 14.

Since last year, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups has been promoting the 'Global Corporate Collaboration Program' to foster global companies and startups. Last year, it launched the 'Changgu' program in partnership with Google, which received a positive response from many startups.

Next, this year, the number of participating companies in the Changgu program was expanded from 60 to 80, and a program collaborating with NVIDIA (N&UP, 30 companies), Amazon Web Services (Jungle, 30 companies), and Microsoft (Majung, 30 companies) was also added.

With the new launch of the Daonda program with Dassault Systèmes, the number of companies participating in the global cooperation program has expanded to a total of five. Dassault Systèmes is a French company that develops 3D software for manufacturing.

Startups participating in the Daonda program (30 companies planned) will be provided with commercialization funds from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Initial Startup Package, along with specialized programs from Dassault Systèmes.

First, Dassault Systèmes provides startups with various specialized software packages necessary for business item design, engineering analysis, and process improvement.

Next, we provide expert training and mentoring programs to assist with software utilization. In particular, we plan to offer opportunities for more in-depth technical support, such as customized expert mentoring tailored to each company's specific situation, by utilizing Dassault Systèmes' open research center, the '3DEXPERIENCE Lab.'

Finally, Dassault Systèmes also supports marketing by listing startups on its proprietary business platform, 'Market Place,' enabling them to expand business opportunities by leveraging Dassault Systèmes' global collaboration network of over 600 companies.

Companies wishing to participate in the Daonda program can apply online through the K-Startup website starting August 31.
