Smart Factory Digital Library to Open in February Next Year


A window will be created where anyone can easily obtain information related to smart factories.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 23rd that it will begin building a "Smart Factory Digital Library" service that will comprehensively provide information related to smart factories.

Currently, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups is supporting the construction of various types of smart factories, including △new construction and advancement of smart factories for small and medium-sized enterprises, △construction of smart factories for coexistence between large, medium-sized, and small businesses, and △support for construction of data-based smart factories. To support and manage this, it is operating a smart factory business management system .

The Smart Factory Digital Library project was launched to address the problem that existing smart factory business management systems were focused on smart factory business support and business management, making it difficult for users to experience the benefits of smart factory construction or easily obtain information on construction cases they want.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will begin developing a smart factory digital library system this month. Following a pilot program, the system will reflect diverse public feedback. Following the initial launch in December, the final launch is scheduled for February 2021. We plan to provide comprehensive smart factory information based on a visual bubble map that allows users to easily find information such as smart factory introductions, smart factory construction cases, smart factory status, and performance.

In addition, we plan to provide a matching service between demand companies and supply companies, allowing demand companies seeking to build smart factories to easily check information on supply companies and select the supplier that best suits their needs based on various visualized information.
