Element14 and AMETEK Land Expand Temperature Inspection Technology
Published2020.09.29 09:48On the 28th, Element14 announced a franchise agreement with AMETEK Land, a manufacturer of non-contact infrared body temperature measurement devices. Through this agreement, Element14 expands its product line by adding the "VIRALERT 3" system, a human skin temperature screening technology.
'VIRALERT 3' uses a thermal imaging camera to measure body temperature and perform facial recognition. The system scans a subject in approximately two seconds, enabling seamless monitoring at building entrances.
“By adding this new technology, we hope to support our customers as they return to work in the safest way possible,” said James McGregor, Global Head of Manufacturing Supply at element14. “We have a wide range of products essential for returning to work that we can ship globally.”
