Equinix Metal features integration with Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric, now known as Equinix Fabric. This enables enterprises to seamlessly implement hybrid multicloud architectures and rapidly connect to thousands of networks, enterprises, and clouds through Platform Equinix.

Additionally, Equinix Metal provides high-performance dedicated servers within minutes, powered by the most popular developer tools across all on-demand and contract models. This allows enterprises to leverage the rich ecosystem of Platform Equinix to generate higher value more easily, faster, and from more locations than ever before.

Built on Equinix's own technology and that of the recently acquired Packet, Equinix Metal expands Equinix's capabilities. Equinix Metal combines API-first hardware automation and packet provisioning expertise with Equinix's global reach, interconnection capabilities, and proximity to valuable ecosystems to deliver a powerful infrastructure building block that delivers agility and competitiveness.
