'Smart Factory Workshop' course opened in the second semester of this year


Siemens Digital Industries Software (hereinafter referred to as Siemens) announced on the 8th that it signed an MOU with Soongsil University for smart manufacturing software education and will cooperate to foster smart manufacturing innovation experts.
Through this collaboration, the two organizations will establish an educational foundation for digital manufacturing technology and foster specialized talents with smart manufacturing technology capabilities.

Through this collaboration, Siemens and Soongsil University will jointly develop software education courses and teaching materials. With the goal of completing Siemens’ ‘Smart Manufacturing Education Course,’ Soongsil University will open the ‘Siemens Smart Factory Workshop’ course in the Data Strategy Management Department of the Graduate School of Business Administration in the second semester of this year. Some of the courses will feature special lectures by Siemens employees.

In addition, Soongsil University's AI Mobility Business Group will open an autonomous driving education course using Siemens' advanced safety vehicle simulation solution, Simcenter PreScan software, for its professors, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
