igus announced on the 14th that it has newly developed a hybrid cable as a drive solution for 'Bosch Rexroth' motors.
Hybrid cables integrate encoder cables into servo cables to combine energy and data supply into a single unit, eliminating the need for cable connections using separate encoder measurement systems.

It is also suitable for Bosch Rexroth MS2N and IndraDrive Mi motors and can be used with cable chains. The cable sheath is made of halogen-free polyurethane (PUR), and you can request a ready cable with harnessing and connector assembly completed so that it can be connected directly to the motor.

"In line with recent development trends, we have increased output and made the size more compact," said Marcus Hwipel. "Unlike other manufacturers that offer products in meter lengths, you can order accurately down to the centimeter, which reduces unnecessary waste and leftover inventory."
