Mouser to Supply High-Precision Temperature and Humidity Sensors for Harsh Environments

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the newest authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors, announced today that it is now stocking the new HTU31 relative humidity sensor from TE Connectivity (TE). This compact, high-precision sensor delivers reliable performance in harsh environments, including industrial, automotive, and medical applications.

Currently available only in digital form, with an analog version also planned, the TE HTU31 is a surface-mount relative humidity sensor with temperature output. It offers fast response times, precise measurements, and low hysteresis, even in environments exposed to extreme temperatures and humidity.
This sensor has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and a standard accuracy of ±0.2°C. Measuring relative humidity (RH) from 0 to 100%, this sensor offers a resolution of 0.01 and an accuracy of ±2%.
The HTU31 sensor operates over a voltage range of 3.3 to 5.5 V, maintains an effective current consumption of 450 µA, and drops to 0.05 µA in sleep mode. Beyond its performance in harsh environments, the sensor is also suitable for applications such as HVAC, home appliances, respiratory devices, and environmental monitoring solutions.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems.
