TJ Rogers, President and CEO of Cypress, focused on analytics and operational efficiency for his Clos De La tech winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California. This led to the implementation of PSoC-based wireless sensing and control technology, which was ultimately extended to the University of California, Davis, a global hub for winemaking and viticulture. This keynote will showcase the unique design challenges resulting from the implementation of technology at the 12,000-square-foot Mondavi Center at the University of California, Davis, which includes over 150 wine fermentation tanks.

In the keynote address by Arrow Electronics, Greg Provenzano, Vice President, and Rachel Black, Corporate Supplier Manager, will explore advancements in embedded application development and distributed sensing, connectivity, and mixed-signal integration. Customer and embedded designs supported by Arrow Electronics’ Engineering Service Center will showcase Arrow’s evolved ecosystem for board design, software integration, certification, and manufacturing capabilities.

Tom Lantzsch, ARM’s Vice President of Strategy, will examine how innovation through ARM partnerships will drive embedded systems, which are energized by the explosion of smart MCUs and the power efficiency revolution. The massive growth in global energy consumption is creating opportunities for 'smart energy' innovation through ARM partnerships in the following three key areas: smart grids, smart meters, and finally, connected devices and systems (including sensors) that are critical for the Internet. This keynote will track the growth of the ARM ecosystem and examine how such partnerships can work together to continuously address the challenges of energy efficiency and future opportunities.
