U+ Launches SD-WAN Service with VMware
Upgrade functions while using the existing corporate network.

LG U+ announced on the 14th that it has launched the 'U+ SD-WAN' solution for businesses, which provides functions such as real-time quality management and cloud access through software in collaboration with VMware.

U+ SD-WAN (Software Defined Wide Area Network) is a solution that upgrades line services by using an SD WAN platform and dedicated terminal equipment on business lines.

Enterprise customers can improve line service quality and access a variety of value-added services with U+ SD-WAN without changing their existing business communications networks. This guarantees the stability of dedicated corporate lines while providing flexible support for high-traffic business services like video conferencing and cloud computing.

U+ SD-WAN remotely and automatically controls terminals using the corporate network from a central location and provides one-stop service from construction to maintenance.

Unlike typical network and security equipment, it separates the data and control areas, allowing for secure services from various security threats. U+ SD-WAN also provides VPN tunneling and firewall functions. Traffic control is also possible to ensure optimal quality for each application used by customers.

Network Function Virtualization (NFV) enables additional service feature upgrades and expansion by applying new next-generation communication technologies.

U+ has already completed verification of its U+ SD-WAN service for domestic and international commercial customers and pilot customers. Furthermore, in partnership with Dacom Crossing, a broadband international circuit specialist, and VMware, the company is providing integrated services, from activation to maintenance, to corporate customers with overseas branches.
