Maxim IO-Link products adopted by Omron I/O hub product line.

Maxim Integrated Korea announced on the 18th that its 'Dual IO-Link' product was installed in Omron's 'NXR Series IO-Link Controller and IO-Link I/O Hub'.

The new Omron NXR series reduces factory downtime by continuously diagnosing and monitoring the status of equipment within production facilities through Maxim's 'MAX14819A' dual IO-Link controller, 'MAX14827A' IO-Link device, and 'MAX14912, MAX14915' digital output devices.
Omron's 'NXR-ILM08C-EIT' IO-Link controller and 'NXR-D166C-IL2' IO-Link I/O hub reduce installation and test run times of production facilities by 90% compared to before introduction. Additionally, it has high safety with its unique wire break diagnosis function and powerful protection technology.
“Maxim has provided Omron with an easy way to increase the number of digital IO channels,” said Jeff DeAngelis, vice president of Maxim Integrated’s Industrial and Healthcare business unit. “This solution provides customers with the ability to reconfigure their production lines.”
