Through QuickLogic's ArcticLink III VX5 solution, engineers can integrate Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor into their designs, enabling them to quickly and easily resolve connectivity issues between the processor and display, improve display viewability, and extend battery life in mobile applications. In particular, the ArcticLink III VX5 solution provides easy connectivity from the Snapdragon processor's MIPI-DSI interface to the LVDS specifications of numerous display devices.
The ArcticLink III VX5 solution includes VEE (Visual Enhancement Engine) technology based on QuickLogic's Apical Limited iridix® core and DPO (Display Power Optimizer) technology, allowing engineers to easily add these features and evaluate their impact on the display's visual experience and system battery life. The ArcticLink III VX5 device is designed to connect to Snapdragon-based DragonBoard through a daughtercard. The daughtercard also features an LVDS display, commonly found in tablets, for easy visual inspection of results.
