Xilinx Korea (Country Manager Ahn Heung-sik) December 20, 2012 – Xilinx has introduced the new WebPACK edition of the Vivado™ Design Suite. With the launch of WebPACK, designers now have free access to the device-limited version of the industry's first SoC-intensive design environment. Available with the release of Vivado Design Suite 2012.4, the WebPACK edition offers the same IP and system-centric delivery as the Vivado Design Suite edition, and enables integration and implementation four times faster than competing products.

Tom Feist, Senior Marketing Director of Design Methodologies at Xilinx, stated, “To date, the WebPACK edition of Xilinx tools has recorded over 20,000 downloads per quarter, proving its popularity among design teams and universities,” adding, “The release of Vivado Design Suite 2012.4 will provide these customers and educational institutions around the world with the enhanced productivity of Vivado Design Suite.”

Supply timing
The Vivado Design Suite WebPACK Edition supports Artix™-7 100T and 200T and Kintex™-7 70T and 160T devices and is available for free download. Customers of the ISE® Design Suite Logic Edition and Embedded Edition within the warranty period can use the Vivado Design Suite Design Edition at no additional cost, and customers of the ISE Design Suite DSP and System Editions can also use the Vivado Design Suite System Edition, which comes with Vivado HLS (High Level Synthesis), at no additional cost.

The latest versions of the ISE Design Suit and Vivado Design Suit can be downloaded from www.xilinx.com . In addition, online training for the Vivado Design Suite is available, and you can quickly start designing by utilizing target reference designs based on the Vivado Design Suite.
