Inspeon Supports Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises' Digital Transformation with Cloud EDI Services

Even small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with limited financial resources will now be able to utilize Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) services without worrying about costs. Inspien announced on the 12th that it had been selected as a service provider for the government's "2021 SME Cloud Service Utilization Support (Voucher) Project," providing its cloud-based EDI service to SMEs at a low cost.

Inspien's "Cloud EDI Service" is utilized for various inter-company transactions, including EDI between domestic and international companies, EDI integration with domestic distributors, and automation of ordering, settlement, and logistics processes. It is particularly well-suited for building electronic document exchange services that connect with a variety of companies, including importers, distributors, logistics companies, and parts suppliers.

Because it's cloud-based, companies don't need to hire staff or invest in building their own systems. There's no need to purchase hardware or software, and the initial response and implementation time is significantly shorter than building an in-house EDI system.

It is powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), which enhances security and safety. Unlike building the system itself, system resources can be flexibly utilized based on load. Furthermore, load balancers distribute system load, and HTTP/S and various security protocols and encryption are applied to control security issues that may arise both inside and outside the company.

Inspian CEO Choi Jeong-gyu said, “Domestic small and medium-sized enterprises have had difficulties implementing DT due to cost burden and lack of information personnel, but we expect that this voucher project will improve the competitiveness of the domestic industry as a whole,” and added, “Inspian will strive to provide cloud EDI services to small and medium-sized enterprises in various fields.”

This project is a government initiative, spearheaded by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), designed to accelerate digital transformation (DT) by supporting the adoption of cloud services among domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). SMEs that apply as demand companies on the NIPA website by the 16th can receive benefits of up to 15.5 million won by paying only a 20% contribution.
