Cypress TrueTouch Touchscreen Solution Adopted in Fujitsu's New Mobile Phones!

Cypress Korea (Country Manager Lim Young-do www.cypress.com ) announced that Fujitsu Limited has adopted Cypress’s TrueTouch touchscreen solution for the touchscreen implementation of its new F-07C, F-09C, and F-12C mobile phones.

Fujitsu's new mobile phone products offer different features based on different operating systems, but they all rely on TrueTouch touchscreens to implement highly responsive touchscreens.

The F-07C mobile phone is the world's smallest Windows 7 device, featuring a 4-inch 1024 x 600 display, enhanced security, and practical mobile wallet functions (pre-installed). The F-09C utilizes Cypress's proprietary waterproofing technology to provide a waterproof body along with a rotating 3.5-inch touchscreen that delivers a dynamic 3D experience. This product boasts a 16.3-megapixel camera capable of capturing Full HD movies. Additionally, the F-12C Android smartphone features a 3.7-inch bright color LCD display and voice enhancement for extra-clear audio.

Cypress’s TrueTouch solution offers the world’s widest range of features, including 1-mm manual stylus support, proximity detection, water resistance, and Charger Armor™, which allows the phone to operate with very noisy chargers. These capabilities are made possible by a proprietary patent-pending TrueTouch capability that performs both self-capacitance and mutual-capacitance measurements on the same device and dynamically switches between the two in the application.
