UR10e, base load improved from 10kg to 12.5kg
Useful for palletizing, machine tending, packaging, etc.


Universal Robots announced on the 20th that it is releasing the UR10e at the same price as before, with the payload capacity of the UR10e improved to 12.5 kg (27.55 lbs), an increase of 25% from the existing 10 kg.

The UR10e, with a 12.5 kg payload capacity that allows for operation even in confined spaces, can be used for palletizing, machine tending, and packaging. The enhanced payload capacity reduces the strain on workers' hands and shoulders, improving the working environment. Strenuous movements and repetitive actions account for approximately 24% and 8% of industrial accidents in the United States, respectively.

It also offers plug-and-play compatibility with Universal Robots' 'UR+' hardware and software peripherals. Programming is also intuitive. Shipments are scheduled for the second half of June.

The UR10e, with its increased payload capacity, has been verified by Universal Robots' partners. MBO Postpress Solutions of Germany has integrated the UR10e into its CoBo-Stack loading cobot. Sebastian König, Head of R&D at MBO, said, “It will bring significant profits to our customers by enabling the processing of bulky and heavy items, such as saddle-stitched catalogs.”
